The Three Amigos

The idea for Halloween costumes came early this year. Grady and two friends Vivika and David who tend to be together more often than not decided to dress up as a group. Someone suggested the Three Amigos idea and a Spanish theme exploded. Thanks to Aunty Lina the costumes turned out great! After one craft night it was unanimously decided that Vicki would paint Grady's outfit. Ok, so actually I just pooped out. It took a few girls nights to get the details right, but the costumes really came together. I found a pink flamenco dress for Kalia and a thrift store ensemble for my self and Sean.

Halloween night was great, we had a small party at Annika's home and then we took to the streets for some trick o treating. We had a great holiday and are excited for next year! ( I now have a few costumistas in my corner to help with the details, thanks Lori and Vicki)

Bend, OR

We did it!
We purchased our new place in Bend, OR. We plan to play here for many years and hope all our friends and family will join us. See you in BEND!

A quick thank you to Wendy for all her time and effort in search of all the items that make a house into a home. And to mom and dad Perkins for making the trip to Bend to help.

Apple Festival Portland, OR

We had the great opportunity to attend the Apple Festival in Portland this past October. Our friends Robert and Jen More invited us to this amazing community event. It was extra special because Robert's entire family also attended the event as the business has been in their family for (just a guess) 50 years. Robert's stepfather still does all the ordering for the over 50 different apples they present for tasting. The smile on Bob's face as he shared this event with us was priceless.

The brisk weather, the home made apple cider, the apples tasting, the pumpkin painting, the balloon twisting gentleman, face painting the time with friends and family all together created a truly excellent afternoon.
