Pumpkin Patch Oct. 2010

Living in Dallas offers so many opportunities for fun. The kids and I joined some friends at the pumpkin patch near our home. A local farmer created this patch on his land and invites people to come and enjoy. The pumpkins are fantastic, there are mini tractors for the kids to ride, a maze made of hay bales for the little kids, a corn maze for the tweens and a hayride which includes feeding the cows and donkeys. We had a great time

Grady, Cayden, Preston
The kids loved riding behind the tractor and feeding the animals.
Cute, but what a poser. :O)
Throwing the pumpkins was not an activity.

Motorbikes in Bend

Of course she loves riding the motorcycle
Robert's first time on a bike. GO uncle BIG FUNNY!!

We've had this jeep for a few years. In Kauai we never found a great space to play. In Bend, we have plenty of room and the kids love the independence having their own wheels provides.

Bikes in Bend

1 rusty old bike + new training wheels, three amazing women + 10 wrong tools = GIRL POWER!
We got Gray his first bike. We found it at the thrift store for $4.00. Unfortunately, the training wheels cost $25.00 Thanks to Tutu Perkins the kids heads are safe.
Mantra: PUSH, STOMP, PUSH, STOMP PUSH, STOMP You are doing it!!
Sissy is unafraid.
They are laughing because Sean is patting out a rhythm on their heads.

Bend 2010

In the mornings we hang out in our pj's. The smell of delicious food fills the house. We read, play games and chat. We are waiting for the sun to wake up and warm the earth so we can play outside.
Truck mania! Gray and Robert bonded over trucks and Gray's bowel commentary, " Mama, I just made a poop!" :O)
Evelyn is always busy in the kitchen. She makes SUPER yummy everything.
Thanks for the puzzles aunty Jen. Perfect for all ages.
Uncle big funny set up his movie projector in the playroom for sissy and gray. The kids snuggled in the tent ate popcorn and watched a movie on the wall, jumbo size.

Aunty Jen was trooper this trip. The kids loved spending time with her playing games and creating crafts, telling stories and giggling.
